Thameen London is a niche luxury fragrance house stocked in Harrods and boutiques worldwide. They came to me wanting to move from a difficult headless setup to Shopify 2.0 — with a well-chosen premium theme as the right first step, every design detail was considered to create a store that feels editorial, elevated, and completely Thameen.

Choosing the right premium theme is only the beginning. What follows is a structured, design-led process that transforms a theme into something that performs for your brand, your products, and your customers. Every stage is deliberate, every decision is documented, and nothing goes live until the whole site has been reviewed as a complete experience.

The right foundation changes everything
Picking the wrong theme at the start costs significantly more to fix later. I shortlist premium themes based on your brand’s specific needs — layout flexibility, typography control, content requirements, and how well the architecture supports conversion. I’ll present a recommended option with a clear rationale before anything is purchased. The themes I work with most are Sleek, Prestige, and Dawn, each suited to different brand positions and product types.
Figma Design and CRO
Designed for your brand before a single setting is changed
Before touching the theme editor, I design the full store in Figma as a clickable prototype. Working closely with the live theme’s capabilities, I design the UI to reflect your brand identity while making targeted improvements based on CRO best practices, SEO structure, and conversion-led thinking. This stage also explores where the theme can be pushed further, typography, spacing, product card layouts, navigation, and editorial sections and where custom development will be needed. You get to review and approve the entire design on real devices before anything is built.
Theme Styling and Setup
Every screen, every interaction, every stage of the journey
With designs approved, I work through the theme systematically, styling every section, page template, and interaction. Product pages, collection pages, the cart and bag overlay, buttons, hover states, overlays, and typography are all refined to match the design system. This is where the holistic vision of the site comes together; every screen, at every stage of the customer journey, feels consistent and considered. Where the theme’s built-in settings don’t go far enough, I map out exactly what needs custom CSS or developer work, keeping that brief clear and efficient.
Bespoke Development
Where the theme becomes something uniquely yours
After the theme styling is complete, I work with my developer to assess where bespoke work adds the most value. This might be a custom header, a tailored mobile navigation, bespoke product page functionality, or editorial sections the theme doesn’t support natively. Every development decision is rooted in what the design requires, not what’s easiest to build. The result is a store that uses the theme as a foundation but moves well beyond what it ships with.

Live and looking exactly as designed
Once the store is built, I can help assist with the content upload and set up the homepage, collection pages, and products. Every piece of content is placed with the design in mind, ensuring the store looks as good with real products and copy as it did in the prototype. This stage removes a significant burden from your team and means the store goes live looking exactly as designed.
