I’m Anthony Bliss, a freelance Shopify designer based in Cornwall, UK. I started my career in brand identity across Bath and Bristol before moving into digital, and for the past six years I’ve focused exclusively on Shopify, working with DTC brands across the UK on everything from bespoke store builds to CRO and UX improvements.
Before specialising in ecommerce, I spent three and a half years as a senior freelance designer at Dyson, overseeing complete campaigns for new product launches. I then moved to Cornwall and spent five and a half years inside a leading Shopify agency, eventually progressing to Creative Director. Going independent was a deliberate move to bring all of that together and work directly with clients myself.
That combination is rare. Most Shopify designers come from a web background. I bring brand thinking, global client experience, and agency-level Shopify knowledge, all applied directly to your store. You can see the results in my Shopify case studies.

Since the start of the pandemic and the rise in online sales I have been mainly focussing on ecommerce & in particular the Shopify platform.
From designing new builds from the ground up to creating UX audits and doing Shopify CRO (conversion rate optimisation) work.
I have a wealth of knowledge designing and adapting to Shopify themes and also designing custom themes, designing custom functionality and also creating bespoke Shopify design systems.
