Let’s create your Shopify success story

Let’s create your Shopify success story

Does your store need an experienced Shopify Web Designer with a rich history in UX & UI Design who specialises in e-commerce to take it to the next level? Then I can help. With decades of experience in branding and UX & UI Design, I have successfully elevated various brands from small start-ups to global household names. In the past 5 years, I have shifted my focus to designing exclusively on the Shopify platform. From brand refinements, UX tweaks and Shopify Conversion Rate Optimisation work to full rebuilds on existing themes and designing bespoke eCommerce design systems.

As a Shopify Expert in the UK, I focus on creating designs that not only capture attention but also convert visitors into customers. I’m here to understand your business needs and improve the overall user experience. From tweaking your website for better results to meeting specific business goals.

Let’s collaborate to boost your Shopify store. Whether it’s a major redesign or small tweaks, I’m here to enhance your brand’s online presence and grow your sales.

Full Figma Design Systems

Creating design systems in Figma for Eccomerce & Shopify websites cuts down the design & development costs. It allows the designer to have a complete vision of all the button states, grids, padding which then informs all the content components & sections.

It then makes it less time consuming to extra pages, like landing pages for example. At the end of the project the Figma file is yours and you can then use it to pre build pages before you go into Shopify. Perfect if you are looking to do some conversion optimisation and will cut the design time down so more time can be spent of the strategy.

UX Design

Every Shopify store owner has different needs and every Shopify user has different needs too. That is why a one size fits all approach does not work.

My process starts with a User Persona and User Journey workshop. This is where we will dive into the data and understand your users better. We will then discover the users needs and pain points which will then guide the user experience and we can bring this into the new Shopify website design.

Figma Prototypes

All design work is outputted into a clickable Figma Prototype. This means you get to  grips with the way the new website design looks and feels on real devices. From hover effects to micro interactions. Figma is a powerful tool that has completely changed the workflow, so there is less guess work between design and development.

Helpful Shopify Terminology

A Shopify web designer helps businesses create a professional, conversion-focused online store. Unlike a developer who handles technical coding, a web designer focuses on how your Shopify store looks and feels, ensuring it matches your brand while making it easy for customers to buy. A good Shopify web designer also considers UX (user experience) and CRO (conversion rate optimisation) so that your site not only looks great but also drives more sales. The final piece of the puzzle is making sure your new Shopify store works for the bespoke needs of your business.

Yes — conversion rate optimisation (CRO) is at the core of my process as a proven Shopify Expert. A beautiful store is only valuable if it converts visitors into customers. I combine strong UX/UI design principles with proven CRO strategies to make sure your Shopify store doesn’t just look good, but performs. This could mean refining product pages, improving the checkout journey, or designing layouts that guide customers naturally towards purchase. Whether you’re launching a new store or redesigning an existing one, CRO is built into the project from start to finish. Before starting a new project I would always recommend a UX review of the current site which would start with your GA4 analytics.

The timeline for a Shopify design project varies depending on complexity. A small store with a few products might be ready in 3–4 weeks, while larger or more customised projects can take 6–8 weeks or more. Because I take a bespoke approach, I’ll create a clear project plan at the start so you know exactly what to expect. My goal is always to deliver on time without compromising on design quality or conversion performance. If you have a launch date in mind, I’ll work with you to meet it.

I’m not listed in the official Shopify Experts Marketplace, but I am a freelance Shopify designer who has been solely working on the Shopify platform for the past 6 years. I have a proven track record of successful projects. My clients choose me because I combine my vast brand experience, bespoke Shopify UX and UI and  conversion rate optimisation (CRO) — meaning I focus on both design and results. You can view examples of my work in the case studies section of my site, which showcase how I’ve helped Shopify businesses grow. Many clients find that working directly with a dedicated freelance expert provides more value than going through the official directory.

Yes. Every Shopify project I work on starts in Figma, where I create a design system to keep your brand consistent across every page. This includes typography, colours, buttons, and reusable components, so your store feels professional and scalable and bespoke to your users needs and business goals. I also build fully clickable prototypes that allow you to experience your new Shopify site before development begins. This means you can test the purchase journey, see how customers will interact with your store, and provide feedback early, which reduces surprises later and also saves on development cost. Ensuring the final build matches your expectations perfectly. Having the design system in place is also a great investment for the future when we want to start conversion rate optomisation work together.

Yes — I run a full UX and heuristics review before making design recommendations. By looking at your Google Analytics data, I can see who uses your site and what devices they are on. I can also see where customers drop off, which pages convert best, and what may be blocking sales. I combine this data with a heuristics review — a structured evaluation of your store’s user experience — to identify usability issues and opportunities to improve conversions. This approach ensures we’re not just redesigning for looks, but making data-led changes that improve sales and create a smoother customer journey on Shopify.
